Erika is driven to use her legal knowledge and creativity to provide tools to help innovators put ideas into action. Her practice focuses on transactional services and navigating complex regulatory structures. Erika is also currently an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School where she teaches in food and agricultural law.

Before joining JWPC, Erika was a Clinical Fellow at the Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic (FLPC) where she worked on state and federal advocacy on food insecurity and environmentally and socially conscious agricultural policy through the Farm Bill. At the outbreak of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Erika led FLPC’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and restaurant support advocacy. Erika earned her LL.M. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, writing her thesis on expanding SNAP access to food insecure university students. In law school, Erika worked with Sustainable Economies Law Center, where she found her passion for circular economies. 

Erika enjoys rock climbing and spending time on the beach. She loves to dine and drink natural wine.
